Nu.education - Swiss Retirement Financial Comparison Platform
A high-end financial comparison platform for Swiss retirement solutions. Handles complex financial simulations, product comparison, offer generation, and personalised PDF reports for end users.
The problem
Take ownership of the frontend for a complex fintech platform with a pre-built Django simulation engine - ensuring auth, data fetching, caching, error handling, and UX were production-ready before launch.
What I built
Audited and rebuilt the Next.js App Router frontend with BFF architecture, implemented TanStack Query for data fetching and caching strategy, built a 10-step multi-step form with React Hook Form and Zod, and established global error boundaries and auth refresh flows.
Outcome
- Production-ready frontend integrated with a pre-built financial simulation engine
- Multi-step form (~10 steps) with Zod validation and persistent state across refresh
- Secure JWT auth flow with 401/403 boundaries and global error handling
- Observability stack with Grafana and Sentry for production monitoring
