Confidential - B2B AI Video Monitoring & IoT Platform
Ongoing feature development on a production B2B video monitoring platform serving commercial security customers. Integrates IP cameras, IoT edge devices, and AI computer vision services for real-time monitoring and analytics.
The problem
Extend a production security platform - serving live commercial customers - with new IP camera integrations, AI-driven video analytics, and IoT device capabilities as engineer number two on a small focused team.
What I built
Implemented ONVIF/RTSP video pipeline integrations and vendor SDK connections, built the engineering layer connecting AWS Rekognition Video to the existing camera pipeline, and delivered backend endpoints and React components for new platform features.
Outcome
- IP camera integration via RTSP and ONVIF protocols across vendor SDKs
- AI vision pipeline connecting AWS Rekognition Video to live camera feeds
- IoT device management including 4G/SIM cellular connectivity
- Full-stack feature delivery across Python backend and React frontend
